Jama Rand, PhD., SHRM-SCP, CCP is a founding principle with Seattle Research Partners, Inc. specializing in human resource programs. As an educational partner, she has taught the SHRM Learning Program for more than twenty years. She has co-authored two books: Strategic Thinking Acting & Learning & Strategic Learning. Jama has provided internal and external HR consulting to a variety of organizations in numerous industries. Although her primary roles have been in Total Rewards, she has a strong generalist background, including Labor Relations. She holds MS in H. R. Economics from the University of Utah & a PhD in Organization & Management from Capella University, virtually. Her virtual learning experience gives her a unique perspective expectation of what can be accomplished when learners have a solid study plan. She currently teaches HR & Business courses for Strayer University where she has held various academic leadership roles over the last 12 years.
