The NY State Assembly may consider future legislation regulating the use of noncompete agreements. Your voice can help ensure a measured approach that protects employers and workers without stifling innovation.
SHRM and the California State Council of SHRM (CalSHRM) need your help to defeat AB 2751, a well-intentioned but misguided piece of legislation introduced in the California State Assembly that would prohibit employers from contacting employees outside standard working hours.
Please send a letter to your representative in the California State Assembly and urge them to oppose AB 2751, and instead work with SHRM and CalSHRM on a solution that preserves your ability to manage your workplace effectively and safeguards economic prosperity.
