Cheronn is a human resources professional who has worked in positions from entry level to executive. Her experience includes working in large and medium public and private sector organizations as well as not-for-profits and start-ups. She has worked in several functional areas including talent acquisition, talent development, employee relations, and EEO/AA.
Cheronn is also an instructional designer who is passionate about organizational and leadership development as evidenced by her work in designing and delivering highly successful leadership development programs. She works individually with high-potential employees looking to move into leadership and executives looking to move their organizations forward. In both the leadership development programs and one-on-one coaching she uses assessments to help participants better understand themselves and those with whom they work.
She has been a member of SHRM for many years and held volunteer leadership positions (Secretary, President-Elect, President, Past-President) in the Montgomery County, MD SHRM Chapter. Currently, she is the Certification Director for the Maryland SHRM State Council and an adjunct professor at Montgomery College.
Cheronn graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Human Resources. She also has a project management certificate, and certifications in several assessments such as 360 assessments, MBTI, Change Style Indicator, Conflict Dynamics Profile, Influence Style Indicator, Emotional Intelligence, and Hardiness Resilience Gauge.
